"Sometimes to create, one must first destroy." Pollinate is a prototype packaging for flower seeds, created with sustainability in mind and the need for creating awareness and educating audience members about the plight of the honeybees. Selected as a feature work displayed in Numinous, the James Cook University 2014 graduate exhibition, this work invited viewers to take one of the packages from the exhibition, and put ideas into action by planting the flower seeds contained within to create more plants for bees to pollinate, whilst in the process destroying the artwork.
